Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

1.

Obtain audio anti-theft code, if equipped, as outlined in Technician Safety Information. On models with air bag system, disarm airbag system
as outlined under Technician Safety Information.

2.

Remove steering wheel.

3.

Disconnect electrical connectors from ignition switch.

4.

Turn ignition key to ACC position and remove ignition key cylinder.

5.

Remove screw and ignition switch.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. Reset audio coded anti-theft, if equipped, as outlined in Technician Safety Information. On models with air bag
system, rearm airbag system as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
