Cold Start Injector Time Switch: Testing and Inspection
Start Injector Time Switch
- Disconnect the electrical connector to the cold start time switch.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.
- Refer to the resistance below for the correct specification.
- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the cold start time switch.
- Reconnect the electrical connector.
Resistance:
STA - STJ:
25 - 45 Ohms below 59°F (15°C)
65 - 85 Ohms above 86°F (30°C)
STA - Ground:
25 - 85 Ohms
