Intercooler Removal

4.

Remove the two intercooler retaining bolts.

Disconnect the intercooler from the turbocharger and intake air connector. Remove the intercooler and air connector.

Remove ignition wires from spark plugs.

Spark Plug Removal And Installation

Using a 16 mm spark plug socket, remove spark plugs from cylinder head.

8.

Using a suitable gapping tool, adjust spark plug gap.

Spark Plug Gap:

0.031 in (0.8 mm)

9.

Apply a light coat of anti-seize compound to threads of spark plugs.

10.

Install the intercooler, intercooler protector, and intercooler air inlet.

CAUTION: Do not reuse coolant. Reduction in coolant strength may result in rust occuring. Use a good brand of ethylene-glycol base coolant. Mix

coolant according to manufacturer's directions.

11.

Fill engine cooling system.

Coolant Capacity:

6.8 Quarts (6.4 Liters)

12.

Using a 16 mm spark plug socket, install spark plugs.

Torque Value:

13 ft.lb (18 Nm)

Reconnect spark plug wires to the appropriate spark plug. Ensure proper firing order.
