8. Disconnect the pressure feed and return tubes.

Using Special Service Tool (SST)  09631 - 22020 or equivalent, disconnect the tube.

9. Disconnect the tube clamp bracket after first removing the two bolts.

10. Support engine.

Using an engine support fixture, support the engine.

11. Disconnect the right and left hand lower suspension arms.

12. Disconnect 2 engine mountings.

a. Front side:

Remove the bolt and nut.

b. Rear side:

Remove the bolt.

13. Remove the front sub-frame with the power steering gear assembly.
14. Remove PS gear assembly.

Remove the two gear assembly set bolts and nuts from the front sub-frame.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the power steering gear assembly.

a. Install the gear assembly to the front sub-frame.
b. Tighten the two gear assembly set bolts and nuts.
