b. Turn the cable counterclockwise by hand until it becomes harder to turn the cable, then rotate the cable clockwise about 2.5 turns to align the

mark. The cable will rotate about 2.5 turns to either left or right of the center.

12. If the vehicle has an air bag, install the steering wheel by doing the following.

a. Align the matchmarks on the wheel and steering column main shaft.
b. Temporarily tighten the wheel set nut.
c. Connect the connector.

13. Bleed the power steering system.

14. Check the steering wheel center point.
15. If the vehicle came with an air bag, tighten the steering wheel set nut to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.)
16. then install the steering wheel pad.

17. Check the front wheel alignment.

18. Install the right and left hand engine under covers, then tighten the 18bolts.
