Air Door Actuator / Motor: Testing and Inspection
Air Mix Door Damper
1.
Remove undercover and center cluster.
2.
Disconnect rod between damper and air mix door lever at door lever.
3.
Disconnect vacuum hose (4) between DVV and power servo to release vacuum, and ensure that servo stem extends fully to maximum cooling
position.
4.
Rotate air mix door away from servo to maximum cooling position, then reconnect rod.
5.
Apply 9.84 inches vacuum to power servo and ensure that servo and mix door move to the maximum heat position.
6.
Reconnect vacuum hose to servo vacuum motor, and reinstall cluster and undercover.
