1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove steering wheel.
3.
Remove No. 1 speaker panel and clip, Fig. 20.
4.
Remove hood release lever bracket.
5.
Remove lower finish panel attaching screws, then the lower finish duct.
6.
Remove No. 2 heater duct, then meter hood.
7.
Remove instrument cluster attaching screws. On front wheel drive models, tip cluster outward and disconnect speedometer cable. On all models,
disconnect electrical connectors and remove instrument cluster.
8.
On rear wheel drive models, remove speedometer cable from instrument panel and upper console assembly attaching screws, then the upper
console assembly.
9.
On front wheel drive models, remove No. 1 heater duct, end finish panel and No. 2 panel under cover.
10.
On all models, remove No. 2 speaker panel attaching screws, then the speaker panel.
11.
Remove speaker bracket.
12.
Remove glove compartment door assembly.
13.
Remove center cluster finish panel.
