Replacement of I.I.A Igniter Unit Without Removing the Distributor

Replacement of I.I.A Igniter Unit without Removing the Distributor:
1)
Remove distributor cap, rotor, ignition coil cover and igniter cover.
Igniter Unit Replacement
2)
Identify position of pink and white wire from pickup coil. (Signal generator)
3)
Disconnect red and brown wires from the right ignition coil (+) terminal, and yellow and blue wires from the left ignition coil (-) terminal.
4)
Disconnect pink, white, and black wires from igniter unit.
5)
Remove and discard the two retaining screws and lift out the igniter unit.
