Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect stabilizer bar from front lower suspension arms, Fig. 9.
2.
Remove stabilizer bar brackets from body structure.
3.
On Corolla models, disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold.
4.
Remove stabilizer bar.
5.
Reverse procedure to install noting the following torques: exhaust pipe to manifold, 33 ft. lbs. (44 Nm); stabilizer bar brackets to body, 14 ft. lbs.
(19 Nm); and stabilizer bar to lower arms, 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm).
