Seat Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Removal

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: SEAT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Manual Seat)   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front

6. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Manual Seat)   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat

8. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR (for Manual Seat)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

(c) Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
