Removal

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing    See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions

NOTICE:
When replacing the occupant classification ECU, perform registration    See: Restraint Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and
Relearning/Registration

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the front seat assembly RH.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side    See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seat Assembly (for Manual Seat)/Removal

3. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU

(a) Disconnect the connector from the occupant classification ECU.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and occupant classification ECU.
