5. Remove the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

Disengage the 4 claws and remove the position indicator housing sub-assembly from the shift lock control unit.

NOTICE

Do NOT damage the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

6. Remove the position indicator light guide by disengaging the 4 claws.

7. Remove the position indicator slide cover and the shift lever knob cover from the shifter assembly.

8. Re-assemble the shifter with the NEW position indicator slide cover shift lever knob cover position indicator light guide and the position indicator

housing sub-assembly.

9. Re-install in the reverse order of removal.

10. Verify proper operation.
