E351 MANUAL TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL: REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

3. DRAIN MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL   See: Fluid - M/T/Service and Repair

4. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

   See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal.

5. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, remove the transaxle case oil seal.

SST : 09308-00010

6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, remove the transmission case oil seal.

SST : 09308-00010

7. INSTALL TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.

(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal.
