Engine - Updated Mounts and Tightening Torque

Engine Mount

To reduce body vibration during initial clutch engagement, the following changes have been made:

1.

The front engine mounting insulator has been changed from a sheer type to a cylindrical type.

2.

The thickness of the rear engine mounting bracket has been increased from 3.8 mm (0.15 in.) to 4.5 mm (0.18 in.).

3.

Due to these modifications, the tightening torque of the rear engine mounting insulator attaching bolts has been changed from 400 kg-cm (350
in.lbs.) to 490 kg-cm (425 in.lbs.).

NOTE:

If the front engine mounting insulator is replaced, the rear engine mounting bracket and insulator attaching bolts should also be
replaced.
