To avoid the possibility of grease adhering to the disc rotor, do NOT apply grease to the inside of pad ears and support plates.

Reassemble the front disc brake cylinder mountings to the front brake calipers.
11.
Surface the disc rotors with the "On-Car" Brake Lathe to within serviceable limits.
12.
If the disc rotors are unserviceable or below minimum thickness, replace the rotors.
13.
Check any new disc rotors for runout.
14.
If the disc rotor runout is over 0.03 mm (0.0012 in.), perform a phase matching procedure.
15.
Road test.
