Introduction
Under certain driving conditions, some 1999 Model Year Corollas will exhibit a false M.I.L. "ON" DTC P0446. A revised ECM has been developed to
prevent this condition.

Repair Procedure
1.
Verify that the Purge System is operating as specified in the Repair Manual.
2.
Check the Part Number of the ECM currently in the vehicle.
3.
If the ECM Part Number ends in a "0", replace the ECM with a revised ECM.
NOTE:
Refer to the Part Number Information Table, to determine the proper revised ECM Part Number.
4.
After replacing the ECM, verify that the Gas Cap is on securely.
