Corolla LE Sedan L4-1762cc 1.8L DOHC MFI (1998)
HINT: When adjusting the push rod, depress the brake pedal sufficiently so that the push rod sticks out.
3. w/ABS: Install master cylinder with ABS actuator.
4. w/o ABS: Install master cylinder.
5. Connect vacuum hose to brake booster.
6. Fill brake reservoir with brake fluid and bleed brake system.
7. Check for leaks.
8. Check and adjust brake pedal.
Check and adjust the brake pedal, then tighten the clevis lock nut.
Torque: 26 Nm (19 ft.lb)
9. Do operational check.
