To minimize operating noise from accessory drive belt tensioner after cold soak, oil dampening characteristics of the tensioner have been changed.
Countermeasured parts have a date code of xx.01.98 or later as shown in the illustration.
NOTE:
Service replacement parts utilize a plastic sleeve and do not incorporate a rubber grommet.
