Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
2. REMOVE RECEIVER
3. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE
Remove the bolt and disconnect the hose.
NOTE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.
4. REMOVE 2 UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORTS
5. REMOVE NO.6 RELAY BLOCK SET BOLTS
6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
HINT: It is not necessary to drain out all the coolant.
7. DISCONNECT UPPER RADIATOR HOSE
8. DISCONNECT ENGINE COOLANT RESERVOIR HOSE
9. REMOVE CONDENSER
a. Lift up the radiator and push it toward engine.
