VSV For Canister Closed Valve: Testing and Inspection
VSV FOR CANISTER CLOSED VALVE (CCV)
INSPECTION
1. REMOVE VSV
a. Disconnect the air hose from the VSV.
b. Disconnect the VSV connector for canister closed valve.
c. Remove the screw and VSV from the air cleaner cap.
2. INSPECT VSV
a. Inspect the VSV for open circuit.
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals.
Resistance: 25 - 30 Ohm at 20 °C (68 °F)
If there is no continuity, replace the VSV.
b. Inspect the VSV for ground.
Check that there is no continuity between each terminal and the body.
If there is continuity, replace the VSV.
