Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT:  After installation, inspect shift lever operation.

When shifting it to each position, make sure that the shifting lever moves smoothly, can be moderately operated and the position indicator displays
correctly.
Positions, which can be operated without pressing the shift lever nob button
R -> N -> D, L -> 2 -> D -> N
Positions, which can be operated only with pressing the shift lever nob button
2 -> L, N -> R -> P
Positions, which can be operated only with pressing the shift lever nob button, ignition switch ON and brake pedal depressed 
P -> R

When starting the engine, make sure that the vehicle moves forward when shifting from N to D position, and moves rearward when shifting to R
position.
