Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair
CONDENSER REMOVAL
1. Discharge Refrigerant From Refrigeration System.
INSTALLATION HINT: Evacuate air from refrigeration system.
See: Service and Repair/Discharging & Evacuating System
Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.
See: Service and Repair/Charging the System
Specified amount: 700 ± 50 g (24.69 ± 1.76 oz.)
2. Remove These Parts:
a. Radiator Grille.
b. Hood Lock.
c. Center Brace.
d. Radiator reservoir tank and bracket.
e. Receiver and holder.
f.
Headlight RH.
3. Remove Condenser Fan.
a. Disconnect condenser fan harness.
b. Remove the 2 clips.
c. Pull out the condenser fan.
4. Remove Oxygen Sensor.
a. Disconnect oxygen sensor harness.
b. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and oxygen sensor.
Torque:
Bolts: 19.7 N.m (201 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
Nuts: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
