4. Remove left and right stabilizer bar links nuts and 2 stabilizer bar links.
[torque: 44 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)].
NOTE: If the ball joint turns with the nut, use a hexagon wrench to hold the stud.
INSPECT BALL JOINT FOR ROTATION CONDITION
1. As shown, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut.
2. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously one turn each 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
[Turning torque: 0.05 - 1.0 Nm (0.5 - 100.4 - 8.7 inch lbs.)].
INSTALLATION
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the torque specifications in brackets [ ].
