1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove steering wheel and column housing assembly.

3.

Remove No. 1 speaker panel, Fig. 20, and engine hood release lever.

4.

Remove lower finish panel.

5.

Remove No. 2 heater duct and instrument cluster face panel.

6.

Remove instrument cluster attaching screws, disconnect speedometer cable and electrical connectors. Remove cluster assembly.

7.

Remove No. 1 heater duct, No. 3 heater duct and end finish panel.

8.

Remove clock assembly.

9.

Remove No. 2 speaker panel and speaker bracket.

10.

Remove glove compartment door, then pull out compartment door panel.

11.

Remove glove compartment door lock bracket with striker.

12.

Remove center cluster finish panel, radio assembly and lower center finish panel.

13.

Remove heater control panel.

14.

Remove side defroster nozzle.

15.

Remove instrument panel attaching screws, then the instrument panel assembly.
