A/C KIT APPLICATION AND INTERCHANGEABILITY CHART

TITLE    COROLLA GTS AIR CONDITIONING PRODUCTION CHANGE

For smoother engine idle under high ambient temperatures with the A/C ON, the following production change has taken place:

1)

A/C idle up speed increased (see page 2).

2)

A/C compressor was changed from a TV14 to TV12 type.

3)

Engine cooling fan power from 45W to 120W.

4)

Condenser fin pitch from 3.6 mm to 3.3 mm.

FIELD FIX FOR VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO 10/88 With A/C

For smoother idle with the A/C on at high ambient temperatures on vehicles built prior to October, 1988, use the following procedure.
