TITLE A/TM VALVE BODY RUBBER CHECK BALLS
CONDITION:
Some vehicles equipped with A13#, A140, or A24# series A/TM may exhibit a harsh 2-3 shift under cold and hot transmission operating temperatures.
CAUSE:
Worn rubber check ball(s) sticking in the valve body passage.
CORRECTION:
When servicing the transmission for this symptom, the recommended procedure is to replace all the BLACK 5.5 mm Check Balls with the New BLUE
5.5 mm Check Balls (Refer to Parts Information Section of this Bulletin).
