BACK DOOR LOCK STRIKER

Condition:

When unlatching the liftback door by using the inside, remote liftback door release, the liftback door may not open completely.

Probable Cause:

The spring tension in the striker mechanism may not open the liftback door catch from the striker.

Correction:

The striker assembly has been revised. The spring itself has also been made available as a replacement part.
