connector. If the connector is not securely locked, a malfunction code will be detected by the diagnosis system.

(The airbag may malfunction, or may not work, if the mounting angle or dimensions of the sensor mount are not correct.)

4. On all models, disconnect sensor electrical connectors.
5. Remove sensor mounting bolt and sensor.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:

a. Ensure sensor arrow points toward vehicle front.
b. Tighten new mounting bolts to specifications. Do not reuse old mounting bolts.
