Wiper Switch: Testing and Inspection
Intermittent & Washer Switch

Inspect intermittent switch operation as follows:
a. Place wiper switch in INT position.
b. Connect battery positive lead to terminal (B)18 and negative lead to terminal (B)16.
c. Connect voltmeter positive lead to terminal (B)13 and negative lead to terminal (B)14, needle sweep indicates battery voltage.
d. Using suitable wire, connect terminals (B)4 and (B)16, then connect terminal (B)18.
e. Battery voltage should rise from zero volts to battery voltage.

If operation is not as indicated, replace wiper and washer switch.
