Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and discharge system refrigerant.

2.

Remove front grille and hood lock brace.

3.

Remove condenser fan motor bracket attaching bolts, then disconnect electrical connector.

4.

Disconnect refrigerant lines at condenser, capping all openings.

5.

Remove condenser attaching bolts and the condenser.

6.

Reverse procedure to install, then evacuate and recharge system and check for leaks. If condenser is replaced, add 1.4-1.7 oz. of new 
refrigerant oil to compressor.
