1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove steering wheel.

3.

Remove glove box assembly attaching screws, then the glove box assembly and striker, Fig. 26.

4.

Remove four bracket attaching screws, then the bracket.

5.

Remove right side lower finish panel attaching nuts, bolts and screws, then the lower finish panel. On models equipped with compact disc
player, remove bolt from the compact disc player amplifier.

6.

Remove engine hood release lever attaching screws, then disconnect cable from lever.

7.

Remove three under cover No. 1 attaching screws, then the under cover.
