1.
Raise and support front of vehicle.
2.
Remove nut and washers from strut bar, Fig. 16.
3.
Remove strut bar to lower suspension arm attaching bolts, then remove strut bar. If equipped, do not move strut bar staked nut unless
necessary. If staked nut must be moved, check to ensure it is returned to its original position prior to installing strut bar.
4.
Reverse procedure to install. Adjust strut bar as follows: 15.6 inches (397.2 mm) on 1984 Cressida, no adjustment on except 1984 Cressida, 14.7
inches (372 mm) on Corolla RWD, 15.2 inches (385 mm) on 1984-85 Celica and 14.5 inches (369 mm) on 1984-Early 1986 Supra, Fig. 16,
