Removal and Installation

1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2.
Disconnect brake hose from brake tube and caliper using a suitable tool.
3.
Remove caliper attaching bolts, then the caliper, Fig. 5.
4.
Remove anti-squeal shims, brake pads with pad wear indicator, and pad support plates.
5.
Reverse procedure to install, then bleed brake system.

Remove sliding bushing and boot, Fig. 5.
2.
Remove piston using compressed air. When using air pressure to remove caliper piston, place a shop towel over piston to prevent it from
flying out.
3.
Remove caliper boot and piston seal from caliper.
