Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair
FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE
-
Disconnect battery negative terminal.
Disconnecting Cold Start Injector Fuel Tube
-
Slowly loosen the union bolt for fuel delivery tube at the Cold Start Injector.
-
When fuel pressure is released, re-tighten union bolt.
Torque: 13 ft.lbs. (18 N-m)

Wipe off any splattered gasoline.
-
Reconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
