Introduction

Some vehicles may exhibit an intermittent condition where the courtesy lamp (dome light) does not turn "ON" when the door is opened, due to the
Courtesy Lamp Switch. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to address this condition.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first,
from the vehicle's in-service date.

1. Verify operation of the courtesy lamp when the driver or passenger door is open.
