Horn Button Assembly
REPLACEMENT
1. PRECAUTION
2. SEPARATE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2 [45186 / 98-75]
4. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2 [45186 / 98-75]
5. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSY[45130/98-75]
a. Place the front wheels facing straight ahead.
b. Using a torx socket wrench (T30), loosen the 2 torx screws until the groove along the screw circumference catches on the screw case.
c. Pull out the wheel pad from the horn button assy.
d. Disconnect the airbag connector and horn connector and remove the horn button assy.
6. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSY [45130/98-75]
a. Connect the airbag connector and horn connector.
b. Install the horn button after confirming that the circumference groove of the torx screws is caught 0 the screw case.
c. Using a torx socket wrench, install the 2 screws.
Torque: 8.8 N.m (90 kgf.cm, 78 in.lbf)
