Remote Switch: Service and Repair

STEERING PAD SWITCH

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:  Wait 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.

2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL NO.3 COVER LOWER 
3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL NO.2 COVER LOWER
4. REMOVE STEERING PAD

5. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH

a. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
b. Remove the screw.

c. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the steering pad switch.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH 

a. Engage the 2 pins and install the steering pad switch.
