Introduction

Alternative brake pads are now available to give 2004 - 2006 model year Highlander V6 vehicles a more Toyota-like initial brake pedal feel in certain
unique driving conditions, including:

High altitude above 5000 vertical feet (1524 m)

^

Low ambient temperatures below 32°F (0°C)

^

Steep grade parking or driving

NOTE:

Customers should be advised that increased brake noise, dust, and disc rotor wear may result from usage of these components.

Applicable Vehicles

2004 - 2006 model year Highlander vehicles equipped with the V6 (3MZ-FE) engine.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
