Oil Pressure Sender: Testing and Inspection
ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Ground the terminal of the wire harness side, then measure the resistance.
Standard Resistance:
Engine idling: Below 1 Ohm
Engine stopped: 10 kOhms or higher
HINT: If the value is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch.
