d) Install the damper with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)

e) Connect the exhaust pipe center to connect the exhaust pipe supports.

f) Tighten the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

Torque: 48 Nm (490 kgf-cm, 35 ft. lbs.)

4. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY TAIL

a) Inspect the compression spring.

1) Using vernier calipers, measure the free length of the compression spring.

Minimum length: 40.5 mm (1.594 inch)

HINT:  If the free length is less than the minimum, replace the compression spring.
