Braking Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR
a. Inspect the brake pedal stroke sensor. If any of the following occurs, replace with a new brake pedal stroke sensor:

The surface of the brake pedal stroke sensor is cracked, dented, or chipped off.

The connector or wire harness is scratched, cracked, or damaged.

The brake pedal stroke sensor has been dropped.
b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
