Countermeasure became effective from 4J08" for supply parts. Countermeasure parts can be identified by parts after the date code below.

Repair Procedure

Replace the affected outside belt molding assembly.

1.

Replace Front Door Molding Assembly LH.

HINT:

The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order.

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

NOTE:

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model year Highlander Repair Manual: Engine/Hood: Front Door: Overhaul
(Highlander).

Remove power window regulator switch assembly.

B.

Remove front door lower frame bracket garnish LH.

C.

Remove door pull handle.

D.

Remove front door trim board sub-assembly.
