Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection
FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the fuel sender gauge assembly.
b. Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.
c. Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.
d. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 (FE) and 2 (FS) of the connector according to the value(s) in the table.
HINT: If the value is not as specified, replace the fuel sender gauge assembly
