DOOR LOCK: ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (for Front Door): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat
belt pretensioner activation  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and
Disarming/Service and Repair.
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service
