4. READ VALUE ON TECHSTREAM (GLASS HATCH COURTESY SWITCH)

(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and Turn on Techstream.
(c) Select the items below in the DATA LIST, and read the displays on Techstream.

Main Body (Main Body ECU):

OK:
Normal conditions listed above are displayed.
NG -- INSPECT BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. READ VALUE ON TECHSTREAM (GLASS HATCH OPENER SWITCH)

(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and Turn on Techstream.
(c) Select the items below in the DATA LIST, and read the displays on Techstream.

Main Body (Main Body ECU):

OK:
Normal conditions listed above are displayed.
NG -- INSPECT GLASS HATCH OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)

6. INSPECT BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the back window lock assembly

NG -- REPLACE BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY
