Pull the seat lock handle downward to expose the two latch release cables.

Observe the condition of the seat lock cable attaching bracket to determine if the bracket is straight and flat or bent as shown in Figure 5.
NOTE
Figure 5 shows two conditions:

The right cable end has come loose from the attaching bracket.
^
The right side of the attaching bracket is bent.
6.
If the cable attaching bracket is bent as shown in Figure 5 carefully reshape the bracket so that it is straight and flat as it shown in Figure 6.
7.
Once the bracket has been reshaped re-attach both cable ends to the bracket.
8.
Fold the seat back all the way down.
