Installation

PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE CABLE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE SUPPORT BRACKET

(a) Install the No. 1 parking brake cable support bracket to the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

2. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the 2 bolts and 4 nuts.

Bolt (A) - Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)
Bolt (B) - Torque: 39 Nm (397 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)
Nut - Torque: 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)

(b) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly to the backing plate with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL CABLE SUPPORT BRACKET

(a) Install the cable support bracket to the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly.
