Room Temperature Sensor (For Rear Air Conditioning)

AIR CONDITIONING: ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Rear): INSPECTION

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT REAR ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Remove the rear room temperature sensor See: Service and Repair/Room Temperature Sensor (for Rear)/Removal.
(b) Disconnect the connector from the rear room temperature sensor.
(c) Measure the resistance of the sensor.

Standard resistance:

NOTICE:

Even slightly touching the sensor may change the resistance value. Be sure to hold the connector of the sensor.

When measuring, the sensor temperature must be the same as the ambient temperature.

HINT: As the temperature increases, the resistance decreases (see the graph).
If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the sensor.
