Installation

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: VVT SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Bank 2)

(a) Exhaust side:

(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Intake side:

(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Bank 1)

(a) Exhaust side:

(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Intake side:

(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL HARNESS PROTECTOR See: Computers and Control Systems/Variable Valve Timing Actuator/Service and Repair/Installation

4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and

Repair/Installation

5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL THROTTLE BODY BRACKET See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and

Repair/Installation
