1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
(a) Install the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket.
2. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET
(a) Install the 2 screws and No. 1 ECM bracket.
3. INSTALL ECM
(a) Install the 2 nuts, bolt and ECM.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
(b) Install the wire harness clamp.
(c) Connect the 5 ECM connectors.
(d) Install the harness connector.
4. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
5. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (w/ Smart Key System)
6. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.
9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.
11. REGISTER TRANSMITTER ID
NOTE: If the tire pressure warning ECU is replaced, register the transmitter ID. See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Tire
Monitoring System/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Registration
12. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM
NOTE: If the tire pressure warning ECU is replaced, inspect the tire pressure warning system.
13. INITIALIZE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM
NOTICE:

Be sure to register the transmitter IDs of all tires in the ECU before initialization.

Be sure to inflate all tires to the proper inflation pressure before initialization.
